Human metapneumovirus in nasopharyngeal exudate (antigen, qualitative analysis)

Pregătirea:

• Avoid using nasal drops or sprays at least 6–8 hours before collection.
• Do not use mouthwash or oral antiseptics on the morning of collection.
• If you are on antibiotic or antiviral treatment, inform the medical staff, as this may affect result interpretation.
• Do not consume food, sweet drinks, or chewing gum at least 2 hours before collection. Plain water is allowed.
• Avoid brushing your teeth immediately before collection.
• Arrive with a clean nose, but do not perform nasal rinses before the procedure.
