The test is used to diagnose gluten-sensitive enteropathy (celiac disease). The following risk groups should also be tested:
In patients with atypical symptoms (infertility, osteoporosis).
Patients with diseases associated with celiac disease and associated with the HLA system (DZ type 1, autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis).
In patients with genetic diseases associated with celiac disease (IgA deficiency, down syndrome).
Close relatives of patients with celiac disease.
Food
- A blood sample is taken on an empty stomach. The last food intake should be at least 8 hours before you visit our center for tests.
- Do not smoke at least an hour before the tests.
Recommendations
- We recommend you to avoid strenuous activities before testing. During 10-20 minutes - during the collection of the analysis, try to relax.
- Postpone the tests immediately after paraclinical studies (roentgen, TC, MRI) and physiotherapy procedures. They can affect test results.
