How to prepare for sample collection

Preparation requirements vary depending on the tests included in the package. For blood tests, Invitro generally recommends sample collection in the morning, on an empty stomach; water is allowed. For urinalysis, the first morning urine sample is generally used, while certain tests may have additional preparation requirements.

For the women’s package, the Pap test has specific preparation requirements. For the men’s package, testosterone testing is recommended in the morning. For children, the preparation requirements for blood, urine and stool parasite testing should be followed separately.
