Determination of visual acuity

Preparation:

If you wear glasses or contact lenses, bring them with you, as well as previous eye prescriptions. If you wear soft contact lenses, it is preferable to remove them a few hours before, and hard ones 24 hours before, as directed by the doctor. Get enough rest the day before the exam; fatigue can influence the result. Avoid drinking alcohol or substances that can affect attention and visual reactions.
