PRP Gel (Platelet-Rich Plasma Gel) is a biomaterial prepared from the patient's own venous blood by centrifugation followed by activation of platelet-rich plasma. During activation, the plasma acquires a gel-like consistency, allowing it to be used to support tissue regeneration and restore soft tissue volume.
PRP Gel is used in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and other medical specialties where tissue regeneration and structural support are required.
Indications
- to stimulate tissue regeneration;
- for age-related skin changes;
- to improve skin quality and elasticity;
- for the correction of small soft tissue volume defects;
- as part of aesthetic medicine procedures;
- in dentistry and other medical specialties as recommended by a physician.
Procedure
A venous blood sample is collected into a special tube. After centrifugation, platelet-rich plasma is obtained and subsequently activated to form a gel, which is then used according to the physician's recommendation.
Preparation:
- No special preparation is required.
- Adequate hydration is recommended on the day before the procedure.
- Avoid alcohol consumption and intense physical activity for 24 hours before the procedure.
