Anti Stress & Burnout Profile
The Anti-Stress and Burnout Profile is a laboratory testing panel designed to evaluate changes associated with chronic stress, physical and emotional overload, persistent fatigue, as well as hormonal and metabolic imbalances.
The profile helps identify factors that may affect energy levels, stress adaptation, concentration, and overall well-being.
Components
- Complete blood count without ESR - assessment of general health status and detection of signs of inflammation, anemia, or physical overload
- TSH - evaluation of thyroid gland function and the impact of hormonal imbalance on energy levels and emotional well-being
- Vitamin B12 - assessment of energy metabolism and nervous system function
- Magnesium (Mg) - evaluation of mineral balance involved in nervous and muscular system function
- Serum cortisol - assessment of the body’s stress response and adrenal gland activity
- DHEA-S - evaluation of hormonal balance and the body’s ability to adapt to stress
Indications
- chronic fatigue and low energy
- prolonged emotional stress
- emotional burnout
- sleep disturbances
- anxiety, irritability, or decreased concentration
- physical and emotional overload
- monitoring stress-related hormonal changes
Procedure
The test is performed on an outpatient basis and includes venous blood sampling for laboratory analysis.
Contraindications
There are no absolute contraindications. Testing may be temporarily postponed in case of:
- acute infectious diseases
- fever
- severe acute conditions
Limitations
Laboratory results should be interpreted within the clinical context and do not independently establish a diagnosis of burnout or emotional disorders. Additional investigations or specialist consultations may be recommended if necessary.
Preparation:
- blood sampling is recommended in the morning on an empty stomach (8–12 hours fasting)
- avoid alcohol and intense physical activity for 24 hours before testing
- avoid significant emotional stress before testing whenever possible
- do not smoke 1–2 hours before blood collection
- a small amount of still water is allowed
